A short film parody of one of the classic films of the 80’s – Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Zack King’s Day Off stars internet sensation and digital magician Zach King as himself in an homage to Matthew Broderick’s Ferris Bueller. Ironically, Brian Patrick Butler’s character name is Brian Butler who is Zach’s paranoid buddy much like Cameron Frye, played by Alan Ruck.

There were several illusions throughout which made the overall experience surreal. The film had many visual artists involved who took their time on their craft. Editing them together with practical effects really helped polish the story and technical aspects thoroughly.

The film’s plot and wardrobe is spot on and features numerous magical tricks as Zach and Brian enjoy their time together skipping school. There are plenty of throwbacks in this homage to Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Because of Zach King’s online fanbase, it has already massed over four millions views on YouTube in only three weeks.
